About Resomix

What is Resomix?

Resomix is a music discovery platform that helps you find tracks based on how they sound — not by genre, popularity, or metadata.

Powered by our proprietary PYXIS-1 engine, Resomix analyses over 70 distinct audio characteristics of each track, including:

The result is a discovery experience built around genuine sonic similarity, helping you find tracks that share the same mood, feel, and musical character.

How does Resomix work?

PYXIS-1 creates a unique sonic profile for every track by extracting and analysing more than 70 measurable audio features.

When you select a reference track or upload your own audio file, the engine compares that sonic profile against the full catalogue and returns the closest sonic matches.

This is deterministic analysis: the same input always produces the same results. That gives you a reliable and consistent way to discover music that matches the sound, mood, and feel of any track you provide.

What technology powers Resomix?

PYXIS-1 is a deterministic computational algorithm.

It is:

Instead, PYXIS-1 applies mathematical transformations to extract measurable audio characteristics and calculate similarity scores through algorithmic comparison.

All results are reproducible and consistent for identical inputs.

This architecture falls outside the definition of an “AI system” under Article 3(1) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the EU AI Act.

Who is Resomix for?

Resomix is designed for DJs, producers, music supervisors, and curators who prioritise sound over trends.

It is especially useful if you want to:

What makes Resomix different?

Most music platforms recommend tracks based on popularity, user behaviour, or genre tags.

Resomix focuses on the sound itself.

Our PYXIS-1 engine examines over 70 sonic characteristics, including timbre, dynamics, energy, rhythm, harmonic content, and structural composition, to identify tracks that genuinely sound alike.

Because PYXIS-1 is a deterministic algorithm — not AI or machine learning — results are consistent, transparent, and reproducible.

This helps you discover hidden gems and explore musical connections based on how music sounds, not how it is categorised.

How does billing work?

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or annual — until cancelled.

Before payment, the total price is displayed clearly, including any applicable VAT.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Resomix does not store full card details.

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the payment and notify you. Paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds, and your data and analysis history are retained according to the Privacy Policy during suspension.

For more details, please see Terms of Service §4A.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel at any time from:

Settings → Subscription

This is the same place where you subscribed.

No email, no support ticket, and no phone call are required.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Can I get a refund?

If you are an EU consumer, you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of your first purchase, unless you consented at checkout to immediate access and acknowledged losing that right once the service begins.

If the service materially failed during a billing period — for example, due to a verified outage or defect — contact [email protected] within 30 days. We may refund or credit you at our discretion.

Renewal charges for a period that has not yet started are refundable if you requested cancellation before the renewal date but the cancellation was not processed due to our error.

Full details are available in our Refund Policy. Nothing in the Refund Policy limits your statutory consumer rights under EU or Greek law.

Will the price change?

If we change our prices, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email.

Any price change will only apply from your next renewal.

If you do not accept the change, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Are there usage limits?

Yes. Each plan includes quotas, such as uploads per month, to help keep the service fast and reliable for everyone.

The following are not allowed under the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy:

If you need higher volumes, API plans are designed for that use case.

Is Resomix a streaming service?

Resomix is primarily a discovery platform, not a traditional streaming service.

You can play tracks to evaluate sonic matches via Apple Music playback, but the core purpose of Resomix is to help you discover music based on how it sounds — not to provide a library for casual listening.

What features are available?

Depending on your plan, Resomix allows you to:

Integration with external DJ software is planned for future releases.

Features may change as the platform develops. Material reductions to a paid plan will not apply to an active billing period.

Can I use Resomix to build DJ sets?

Yes.

Resomix can help you explore tracks linked by sound, making it easier to build more coherent and original DJ sets.

You can use the playlist features to organise discoveries and develop new musical directions for your performances.

While integration with external DJ software is planned for future releases, Resomix can already help inspire new transitions, combinations, and creative set ideas.

What devices or browsers work with Resomix?

Resomix works on all modern desktop and mobile browsers, including:

Uploads and Your Data

Can I upload my own music?

Yes. You can upload audio files for similarity analysis.

By uploading audio, you confirm that you own or control the rights to the audio, or that you are authorised to submit it for analysis.

Uploaded audio is processed ephemerally:

Resomix does not retain, distribute, or claim any rights over your uploaded content.

If you believe content infringes your rights, please see our Copyright & DMCA Policy at:

Does PYXIS-1 train on my uploaded audio?

No.

PYXIS-1 does not train on any content — yours or anyone else’s.

It performs deterministic feature extraction and similarity analysis only.

Your uploaded audio is processed temporarily to generate a sonic profile for matching purposes, and the source file is not retained.

PYXIS-1 does not adapt, learn, or modify its behaviour based on user content or interactions.

Is my data collected or shared?

Resomix collects information necessary to provide and improve the Service, including:
